It's important to take care of your candle to ensure you get the most out of it.

The first burn is the most important: To avoid tunnelling, the candle wax should pool to the edge on the initial burn (typically takes 1-2 hours). Soy wax has memory and by not burning the candle to the edges on the first burn, it will begin to tunnel and you won't get to burn the whole candle.
Always trim your wick: Before lighting your candle each time, make sure to always trim the wick to 1/4 inch. This will ensure a proper burn.
Remove any debris: Make sure to clean the debris to avoid candles flickering, which leads to soot and blackening.
Keep an eye on your candle: You should never leave a candle unattended. Always keep a lit candle in sight and never leave children unattended near an open flame.

You can also use a tooth brush, soap and warm water to gently go over your charms. This will get in-between the little groves in your jewellery.
